Critical Facilities Project Manager

Snapshot / Role Overview We're seeking a Critical Facilities Project Manager in Columbus, OH to deliver building automation projects for data centers and essential facility clients. Impact - Lead project delivery in one of the Midwest's fastest-growing data center markets - Ensure seamless system integration for mission-critical infrastructure - Build long-term client partnerships through exceptional project execution - Grow regional presence and project backlog through successful delivery Responsibilities - Manage building automation and controls projects from kickoff through final acceptance - Develop project schedules, budgets, and execution plans - Coordinate engineering submittals, procurement, and subcontractor activities - Lead client meetings and maintain regular communication on project status - Review technical documents including drawings, specifications, and sequences of operation - Oversee field installation and commissioning activities - Manage project costs, change orders, and billing processes - Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and code requirements - Mentor project engineers and support team development Requirements Must-Haves - 5+ years of project management experience in building automation or controls - Track record managing projects $1M+ for data centers or critical facilities - Strong knowledge of BAS platforms and integration requirements - Experience with project scheduling and cost management tools - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Nice-to-Haves - PMP or similar project management certification - Experience with hyperscale data center construction - Familiarity with Niagara, Tridium, or enterprise BAS platforms Compensation & Logistics Competitive salary depending on experience; benefits include health insurance, 401K with company match, PTO, paid holidays, and professional development.
