What You Will Experience: Strategic Influence: Influence the direction of Oracle Database's AI by aligning our technical strategies with business growth. Executive Visibility: Craft and present solution architectures and key milestones that capture the attention of senior executives. Cross-Functional Impact: Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to deliver powerful, value-driven AI solutions using the latest OCI technologies. Business-Critical Design: Lead high-value architectural initiatives that drive measurable business value and enhance operational efficiency through AI/ML adoption. Professional Growth: Engage with esteemed architects and technical leaders, garner recognition as a key contributor, and mentor others in best practices. Responsibilities: In this role, you'll spearhead complex AI initiatives at scale for Oracle Databases, which includes: Developing and owning the architectural vision for AI agent integration within Oracle Databases. Designing scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures for cloud-native, microservices, and event-driven systems. Leading architecture and design reviews, conducting proofs of concept, and addressing complex problem-solving initiatives. Collaborating with engineering teams to uphold architectural integrity, solution quality, and adherence to best practices. Establishing and promoting best practices for system performance, reliability, security, and regulatory compliance. Providing technical mentorship and thought leadership across engineering disciplines (without direct people management). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred. Over 10 years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record in system and platform architecture. Hands-on experience with AI, conversational AI, or intelligent automation systems is essential. Expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python). Experience with developer platforms, SDKs, or APIs. Strong grasp of developer experience principles, including documentation, onboarding, and test environments. Comprehensive knowledge of security practices, authentication/authorization, and API management best standards. Experience with enterprise SaaS solutions is highly advantageous. Range and Benefits: The hiring range for this role in the US is from $82,500 to $199,500 per annum, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
