As a TruGreen Field Sales Consultant, you'll be the friendly face in neighborhoods, interacting with homeowners directly to showcase the advantages of personalized lawn care solutions. With your enthusiasm, expertise, and dedication to TruGreen’s effective Sales Playbook, you’ll deliver tailored services right at their doorsteps, transforming casual encounters into long-lasting customer relationships. What You’ll Do - You will embody the TruGreen brand, connecting with homeowners face-to-face to identify their needs and offering them custom lawn care solutions that foster trust and satisfaction. Each day presents a new chance to engage, educate, and build your client base. Engage with new and existing customers through door-to-door outreach, bringing professionalism, positivity, and energy. Customize sales pitches to align with the unique lawn care needs of each household, because every yard (and customer) is unique. Convert inquiries into sales using proven methodologies and processes. Log interactions and monitor performance using a CRM to track activity and success, because metrics matter and follow-through is key. Cross-sell and upsell effectively by utilizing your expertise to demonstrate how customers can enhance their lawns. What You’ll Bring - No green thumb required—just the drive to succeed and the people skills to make each doorstep feel like a warm lead. High school diploma or GED required (a PhD in People Skills is a plus). Previous sales or customer service experience is beneficial, but passion and determination are even more valuable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record—reliability is essential. Strong communication skills, whether engaging in small talk or closing deals, you keep conversations genuine and engaging. Good time management skills and a self-starter mentality—you thrive without constant direction. Comfortable with technology and mobile devices (no coding required, just tap, swipe, and go). Physically capable of walking, standing, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds while working outdoors.
