Dc Assistant The Fruitist Company is a fresh fruit brand that is focused on delivering premium, snackable berries with consistent quality. The Fruitist Company, headquartered in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a DC Assistant for a New Jersey location, to assist with operations including product and packaging inventory management and product testing. Job responsibilities and duties include: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of packaging materials and products to support ongoing operations. Source, track, and manage packaging materials, including coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, while resolving any discrepancies or delays. Manage the flow of products, ensuring efficient processing of shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records including overseeing shipping and receiving activities by verifying documentation, tracking shipments, and updating system records. Provide support to payroll processing and invoice management. Support re-pack operations by preparing materials, coordinating resources, and ensuring smooth workflow execution. Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate tracking, efficient stock management, and timely replenishment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and promote efficient day-to-day operations at the distribution center. This position will manage assigned projects but it will not manage any personnel. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in agriculture, agronomics, quality management, quality control or any related agriculture or quality based fields of study and 2 (two) year(s) of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained. Additionally, qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following: Famous ERP software including experience using modules for inventory, sales orders, purchase orders, shipping/receiving, and grower accounting. Ability to organize and analyze information and data using Excel and Word, including advanced functions for formatting, reporting, and document management. Applying applicable regulations and standards related to the agriculture, food safety, manufacturing, and produce areas, including familiarity with USDA and FDA requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and HACCP guidelines. Applying knowledge of produce packaging materials and processes, including: tools related to digital inspection and measurement and inventory control. Processing shipments and receipts. Experience with bill of lading preparation and warehouse management functions, including: scanning, pallet tagging, and load verification. No travel. No WFH.
