Your Role: As a Junior Plumbing Design Engineer, you will engage in the design of essential building systems, developing technical documentation, and performing engineering calculations in collaboration with our expert project teams. You’ll contribute to various market sectors such as Business, Community, Grocery & Distribution, Health, Retail, and Venue, leveraging the integrated experience we offer alongside Henderson Building Solutions. Key Responsibilities: Perform calculations and design basic engineering systems alongside experienced staff. Prepare system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics. Review shop drawings to ensure conformance with plans and specifications. Prepare or modify reports, plans, and designs for designated projects. Support business development efforts and pursue new activities. Participate in events to cultivate professional relationships. Occasionally visit job sites to verify existing conditions and monitor construction progress. Continuously seek to enhance your industry knowledge and expertise. Maintain proficiency with industry-standard software, including Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (mechanical, electrical, fire protection, or architectural) with 1 year of experience, or 3 years of relevant experience without a degree. Basic understanding of engineering design principles and knowledge of industry codes and standards. Familiarity with Revit and Bluebeam Revu software is preferred. Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
