About the Role: As the Vice President of Investment Strategy, you will lead a global team responsible for shaping and pricing complex custom IT solutions valued in the millions for mid to large-sized global corporations. You will collaborate closely with the sales organization to create competitive pricing models for customized solutions that address IT-related business challenges. This role involves significant capital investment on behalf of our clients, necessitating meticulous financial scrutiny to ensure profitability and attractive returns on invested capital for Ensono. This is a highly visible position, instrumental in our financial stewardship, and involves regular interactions with executive leadership and presentations to the Board of Directors. Duties & Responsibilities: Manage prioritization of work across a global investing team; collaborate with leaders to meet common timelines and financial metrics. Work with sales and technical teams to outline the solution strategy aligning with client needs. Ensure deals meet Ensono's financial goals for margins and returns on invested capital. Develop pricing proposals for sales opportunities, requiring in-depth understanding of Ensono's financial structure and accounting principles. Create financial pricing models to document profitability and financial viability of sales opportunities. Prepare investment memorandums for executive leadership review and the Ensono Board of Directors when necessary. Collaborate with the Product team to develop pricing strategies, cost models, and approve product prices for standard offerings. Provide thought leadership and innovative deal structures to facilitate closing new business. Engage with clients to understand their cost structure and present a compelling economic value proposition. Shape and structure deals from inception through contracting. Assist sales and legal teams in negotiating contract terms while managing risks for Ensono. Stay informed on competitive offerings, technologies, and industry trends to influence strategic direction. Work with the FP&A organization to assess the performance of historically underwritten deals. Occasional travel which may include overnight stays. What You Will Need: Deep underwriting experience and understanding of P&L and return metrics (ROIC, IRR, etc.). Prior experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or corporate development is required. MBA preferred. Strong leadership skills, fostering a team culture where individuals excel and achieve outcomes. Project management capabilities to handle multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Ability to interface, present, and negotiate with clients at all management levels. Skilled in crafting succinct presentations for executive leadership and the board. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Resilience and resourcefulness in complex problem-solving scenarios. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Flexible working hours, including the possibility of late-night and weekend work. Able to work effectively within tight deadlines and adapt to changes swiftly. Excellent organization and time management skills. Technical IT knowledge is a plus and highly beneficial. Why Ensono? Placement within this range may vary based on skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs. Additional compensation programs may include an annual bonus plan and an equity grant.
