Engage collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of therapists, physicians, caregivers, and families to create an integrated care approach. Empower families with education to facilitate ongoing progress outside of therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure consistent care throughout the healing process. Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in compliance with all regulatory standards. Commit to professional growth by staying updated with trends and advancements in the field. Education A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Successful completion of an accredited Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA accredited. Certifications Current licensure as a Speech Language Therapist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Skills Expertise in evidence-based practices for all age groups, with a deep understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional communication skills for effective interactions with patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals. Ability to tailor therapy approaches to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong clinical reasoning and effective problem-solving skills.
