POSITION SUMMARYThe Telemetry RN is responsible and accountable for directing, planning, and organizing the nursing activities on the Telemetry unit with a focus on patient, physician and staff needs. The Registered Nurse supports the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff pursuant to the mission and objectives of the Hospital.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSGraduate of an accredited school of nursingCurrent Louisiana Nursing License in good standingPrevious clinical nursing experience in Telemetry desiredBLS is required within 30 days of the hire date.All other certifications are due within 90 days of the hire date, i.e., ACLS.Please indicate whether you have ever been convicted of a crime, including any misdemeanors and/or DUI/DWI.
