Job Description Senior Health Outcomes Research Consultant, RWE Join Oracle Life Sciences as a Senior Health Outcomes Research Consultant and become an integral part of our dynamic Health Outcomes Research team within the Real World Evidence Group. In this role, you will lead the design, analysis, and publication of impactful health outcome studies, including patient surveys and large database analysis through electronic health records, claims, and more. This is an exciting opportunity to provide expert research consultation to both internal teams and external clients. Our goal is to help bring products to market efficiently while navigating regulatory pathways and securing payer reimbursement and coverage. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As a Senior Health Outcomes Research Consultant, your key responsibilities will include: Leading the design and execution of health outcome studies as Principal Investigator, which includes crafting research proposals, developing questionnaires, overseeing statistical analysis plans (SAP), directing data analysis, and writing reports, abstracts, posters, and manuscripts. Ensuring client satisfaction by managing engagements to deliver timely, high-quality outputs. Contributing to business development efforts by identifying opportunities, establishing appropriate pricing, and preparing compelling proposals. Mentoring and guiding junior research staff to foster their development. Attending and presenting at professional conferences to enhance visibility and knowledge sharing. Willingness to travel up to 10% to support project needs. QUALIFICATIONS To excel in this role, you should possess: A PhD or PharmD in pharmaceutical sciences, epidemiology, health outcomes, or psychology (social psychology, behavioral science, experimental psychology) is preferred. A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience, including at least 1 year in life sciences consulting with a proven track record of executing real-world research studies. Expertise in survey design and quantitative methodologies, especially in developing patient-reported outcome measures and conducting patient preference studies. A solid understanding of statistics and relevant techniques, including regression, mixed models, and data reduction methods. An impressive publication record with multiple peer-reviewed manuscripts. Advanced skills in data analysis software such as SAS, SPSS, Stata, Mplus, and/or R. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written. The ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word. Desirable experience with EHR and/or healthcare claims data, along with familiarity in programming languages like Python.
