Job Full Description JOB: Work in an Optical Lab- Cross trained throughout lab. Operate machines, make, assemble lenses & glasses detail oriented due to precision of lenses. Location: Indianola Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm Responsibilities include: Collecting medical history and performing pre-testing/diagnostic procedures Assisting the Optometrist during exams, including scribing and charting Educating patients on treatment options and follow-up care Scheduling appointments and completing patient follow-ups Assisting with phones, check-in/check-out, and general office support Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Customer or patient service experience; medical or eyecare experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail Comfortable using computers and electronic health record (EHR) systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Des Moines (West), IA 2496 1801 Grand Ave West Des Moines, IA 50265
