As an early intervention day treatment clinic, KULA serves children with various developmental disabilities or delays. Following a referral from their primary care physicians, children undergo developmental screenings and may be scheduled for therapy evaluations at our facility. Our range of services caters to numerous needs, including speech-language delays, feeding disorders, cognitive delays, and more. At KULA, we believe in a team-oriented approach. Our treatment rooms are thoughtfully staffed and culturally enriched, designed to support the diverse needs of the children we serve. Our skilled team includes licensed occupational and physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and on-site nurses to address any medical needs. We primarily serve children from birth to kindergarten age but also expand our services during summer months to include elementary-aged children with special needs. Qualifications Education/ Certification: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Eligibility for the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Experience/ Knowledge required: Experience in a similar role for at least one year, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills/ Abilities: Excellent communication skills with a diverse range of individuals. Experience working with children aged birth to 7 who are at risk. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic computer proficiency in databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and internet software. Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Comprehend and interpret documents such as safety guidelines and policies; proficient in writing reports and correspondence. Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions effectively. Problem-solving skills for a variety of concrete variables in standard situations.
