As a Senior Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group, you'll play a key role in our clients' data center facilities engineering, design, and construction. This is your opportunity to work on critical projects that are at the forefront of technology and infrastructure. In this role, you'll engage in exciting projects, including engineering and designing data centers and other mission-critical facilities. You will be responsible for design work, collaborating with a talented team, performing quality reviews of design packages, and assisting throughout the design process. Your contributions will directly impact construction onsite, collaborating with clients, owners, and contractors. Your responsibilities will encompass engineering and design for power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communication systems within complex industrial facilities. Additionally, you'll take on projects to retrofit existing systems to suit evolving client needs, all while managing quality, scope, budget, and schedule efficiently. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering At least 6 years of experience in design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution Professional Engineer (PE) license Extensive knowledge of industrial facility design Proficiency in Revit or BIM software Solid understanding of NFPA 70 (NEC) Effective verbal and written communication skills Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have: At least 3 years of data center facility design experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills A forward-thinking attitude, eager to learn and contribute innovative ideas A history of quickly adapting and expanding your knowledge The ability to work collaboratively within diverse, multi-disciplinary teams A passion for buildings and construction Experience designing large projects on greenfield sites Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
