Leidos QTC Medical Services, Inc., operating under the brand name Leidos QTC Health Services, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support our service members across various locations. In this critical role, you will contribute to the healthcare and wellbeing of veterans and active duty service members. As a Travel Nurse Practitioner, you will perform a range of general medicine, occupational, and disability health examinations, including: Reviewing medical histories and associated records Interpreting clinical data Generating written reports and independent medical opinions (IMO) Examinations can take place in various settings: clinics, examinees' homes, telehealth platforms, and at large events for the Reserve Health Readiness Program. This role involves significant travel (minimum of 70%) to provide physical exams throughout the country, with all travel expenses covered and a per diem provided. Work Schedule and Expectations: Generally Monday to Friday, with 8-hour workdays (between 8 am - 5 pm). Weekend and evening schedules may be required based on operational needs. 30% of the role includes telehealth services and administrative duties when not traveling. Comprehensive onboarding and training with progressively complex encounters. Access to a fully staffed clinic to support operations. We cover licensing, malpractice, CME costs, and more! Annual bonus potential of up to 30% of base salary. Key Responsibilities: Conduct physical exams for federal, defense, and other customers. Conduct pre- and post-employment occupational health exams and annual physicals. Compose written medical opinions based on provided records and acceptable clinical evidence (ACE). Provide telephonic and virtual examinations. Work in unique settings—homebound, event sites, etc. Complete Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs). Conduct primary medical evaluations, including review of systems, pap smears, and range of motion assessments. Initial review and interpretation of diagnostic studies such as laboratory tests, pulmonary function tests, and ECG studies. Document examinee records in the appropriate systems and collaborate with clinical staff to determine effective, evidence-based care. Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution. Current national licensing with ANCC or AANP. Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in primary care or internal medicine. Unrestricted state medical licensure for full practice. Ability to obtain a DEA license. Valid BLS or ACLS certification. Must possess REAL ID-compliant identification or equivalent TSA-approved identification before the start date. Ability to secure and maintain government clearances as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in conducting occupational/disability medical examinations. Certified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist License from the American Board of Occupational Health Nurses (ABOHN).
