Manufacturing/warehouse locations include Elgin IL, Machesney Park IL, Watertown, WI, Milwaukee, WI, Broadview, IL, and Iron Ridge, WI. We are the Company whose products, whether known or not, are never more than a few steps away.Position Summary:To assure the "in process" product quality meets the specifications of the blueprint, per ITW customer standards.Essential Functions:Perform quality checks and document (where applicable), using simple gauges, precision measuring devices and visual inspection. Perform safety checks to ensure safety devices are on and in working order (guarding and all safety equipment). Use proper Lock Out Tag Out procedures. Manually handle parts from work-in-process containers to shipping containers.Move containers as required using pallet jacks and/or fork trucks. Prepare and maintain accurate records (route sheets and count sheets). Clean equipment and keep work area neat and orderly. Read and understand blueprints Open to work in any other area of the Plant at the request of employee's supervisor.Required Skill, Education and ExperienceBasic reading/writing/math skillsMechanical ability and knowledge of tools and machinery preferredAbility to focus and prioritize task and objectivesGood communication skillsAbility to lift/pull up to forty (40) poundsKnowledge of use of measuring devices, blueprints and drawings preferredCompensation Information:$21-$22 per hourITW is an equal opportunity employer.
