OverviewPosition: Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient OrthopedicsLocation: 4655 66th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33709Schedule: PRN / As Needed – Monday through Friday, including evenings until 7:00 PMCompensation: Starting at $25+ per hour, based on experience Select Physical Therapy’s outpatient center in St. Petersburg is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated clinical team. Our staff includes two Physical Therapists, one Physical Therapist Assistant, and one Occupational Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist. We primarily treat outpatient orthopedic cases, with additional focus on vestibular rehabilitation and dry needling. We welcome applications from newly licensed graduates as well as experienced PTAs with a background in outpatient orthopedics.Responsibilities Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act. Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
