Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Special Procedures Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology Job Details:• Work first shift with staggered start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM for 5x8 hours/day Monday-Friday• Weekend and evening/night on-call rotation required• Primary and backup call rotation as needed• Daily caseload of 13-17 procedures• Must have minimum 1 year of experience with travel experience required• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT• ARRT Advanced Certification preferred• Must have neuro experience including stroke intervention procedures• Required skills include all IR procedures: stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, upper and lower extremity procedures, abdominal and pelvic studies, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies• Experience with Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment required• PACS and contrast experience required• Must have scrub experience maintaining sterile field• Preferred experience with EPIC and McKesson systems• Preferred experience in outpatient, OR, ER, Level I trauma, teaching hospital, community hospital, and ablations• Must be available for orientation classes each day during first week• Scrubs provided• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week Facility:This major medical center operates a comprehensive interventional radiology department that handles a wide range of complex procedures including neurological and stroke interventions.
