Job Overview: As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiology division, you will provide essential nursing care under the guidance of our healthcare providers. Utilize your nursing expertise to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care in various clinical settings. You will play a key role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care. Deliver office-based nursing care in close collaboration with healthcare providers. Assess the physical and psychosocial needs of patients and their families to develop comprehensive nursing care plans. Communicate effectively with providers regarding patient assessments and needs. Proactively take directions and engage in additional training to enhance patient care. Collect and document patient health information, including medical histories, and assist with scheduling visits. Review patient records for completeness and address any outstanding issues with providers. Exhibit independent nursing actions based on thorough assessments. Under provider guidance, call in prescriptions and monitor patient responses. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes. Triag telephone inquiries, providing timely and professional responses. Support patients and their families with empathy while ensuring confidentiality and privacy. Qualifications: Travel is required to locations in Bloomfield and Enfield. Current Connecticut RN License required. Experience in Cardiology is mandatory.
