Summary Completes activities related to the preparation and processing of payroll for all Hospital and Hospital-affiliated employees associated to St. Clair Health. Assists in processing bi-weekly payroll through the payroll system. Reviews input to ensure all calculations are current and in accordance with established policies and governmental regulations, audits computer-generated payrolls to balance gross payroll figures, and assures accuracy of all functions. Minimum Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Two years of experience in automated payroll activities with knowledge of payroll systems; personnel policies; multiple local, state, and federal laws; and report preparation. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Time and Attendance and Payroll Software programs. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) software applications. Advanced training or degrees in business or payroll.
