As a State and Local Tax Associate specializing in Technology Integration, you will engage with high-profile clients to help them navigate complex opportunities and challenges in the tax landscape. Key Responsibilities: Lead the implementation of generative AI technologies and digital tools within the SALT practice, enhancing tax research methodologies and maintaining tax application content. Conduct in-depth tax analysis to align AI applications with intricate state and local tax regulations, optimizing compliance strategies. Independently evaluate and support decision-making processes by providing actionable insights for strategic reviews. Develop training initiatives to help staff transition to AI-integrated compliance methods and facilitate their use of KGS. Manage tax-related content compliance, making strategic decisions to ensure adherence to regulations and firm standards. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, integrating new techniques from the CSD training curriculum into practice. Act with integrity and professionalism to uphold KPMG's respectful work environment. Qualifications: A minimum of two years of recent experience in tax compliance or a related advisory role. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field is required. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and make independent decisions based on complex tax information while managing high workloads and critical deadlines. Preferred expertise in AI applications and proficiency in tax technology tools. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Office applications for thorough data analysis and insights. Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex findings and influence strategic decision-making. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
