ABOUT THE ROLE As a Lead Android Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing and enhancing an innovative Android application that serves millions of users. You will mentor fellow engineers, set best practices, and influence major technical decisions while collaborating closely with backend and design teams. WHAT YOU WILL DO Establish architectural frameworks and best practices for a cutting-edge Android application. Provide mentorship and training for incoming engineers, ensuring a smooth onboarding process. Architect solutions requiring in-depth knowledge of Android systems and networking. Lead technical decisions regarding mobile architecture and integration strategies within your team. Work alongside Distinguished Engineers to align mobile implementations with established standards. Supervise the integration of the design system throughout the Android codebase. MUST HAVES Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 7+ years of Android development experience, particularly in Lead or Principal roles Expertise in Kotlin, Coroutines, and Flow Solid experience defining mobile architecture for large-scale consumer applications Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and mobile-backend integration strategies Strong skills in driving technical consensus and mentoring senior engineers Experience writing and managing extensive unit and UI test suites Upper-intermediate proficiency in English NICE TO HAVES Experience with Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) patterns Previous work migrating monolithic mobile architectures to modular setups PERKS AND BENEFITS Professional growth: Engage in mentorship, TechTalks, and personalized growth roadmaps.
