Job Details Position: Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Assignment Location: Memphis, TN 38103 (Children's Hospital, Level I Pediatric Trauma Center) Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 - July 6, 2026) Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:00) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,830 - $1,970 Openings: 2 positions Weekend Coverage: As needed Vaccination Policy: Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required Ideal Candidates: Experienced pediatric travel respiratory therapists seeking short-term contracts in Memphis/Tennessee Job Requirements Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric respiratory therapy experience in an acute care/hospital setting Travel Experience: At least 1 completed previous travel assignment required (first-time travelers not accepted) Credential: Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required (CRT not accepted) License: Active Tennessee Respiratory Care license required at time of submission Pediatric Experience: Required - pediatric ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway support experience preferred Driver's License: Must be included with submission Local Radius Rule: Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility Compliance: Ability to meet strict onboarding and documentation requirements RTO (Requested Time Off): All RTO must be included at time of submission Responsibilities Deliver high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients in a hospital-based, acute care setting, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy Assess, monitor, and document respiratory status; respond rapidly to changes in patient condition Administer ordered respiratory treatments and manage oxygen delivery systems, ventilators, and non-invasive support per provider orders and hospital protocols Support airway and respiratory support needs in collaboration with physicians, nursing, and the interdisciplinary care team Provide compassionate, family-centered education and communication with patients and families Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and follow unit policies, safety standards, and quality initiatives Participate in orientation and ongoing training; adapt to Level I Pediatric Trauma Center protocols Demonstrate flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed Why Memphis?
