About Our Team The Enterprise Security team at Nutanix consists of over 40 skilled members from diverse backgrounds, dedicated to enhancing our organization’s cybersecurity integrity while maintaining a supportive and collaborative work culture. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a vital role in providing essential analysis, contributing to global security projects, and leading continuous improvement efforts. Our team culture prioritizes collaboration, engaging closely with various stakeholders to effectively advance our security initiatives. You will serve as a trusted Subject Matter Expert (SME), guiding and championing endeavors that bolster our security posture. You will report to the Manager of Security Engineering, who is devoted to empowering team members through mentorship and clear communication. Emphasizing flexibility, this role is fully remote, allowing you to work from any location without travel requirements, enabling you to concentrate on your contributions to our team and security goals. Your Role Lead and manage Enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) initiatives. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to establish and enhance Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies throughout the organization. Design and oversee the implementation of security strategies for IAM, PAM, and DLP programs to improve overall security posture. Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of ongoing learning and collaboration. Evaluate and recommend state-of-the-art security tools and technologies to enhance defenses against threats. Stay updated on industry developments to ensure our security practices are innovative and effective. Define and monitor objectives for continual improvement in security practices and team performance. Participate in incident response and security assessments, ensuring readiness for potential threats. Your Qualifications 10+ years of experience in security engineering, particularly in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Demonstrated leadership abilities with a successful track record of managing security projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams. In-depth knowledge of contemporary security technologies and tools related to IAM, PAM, and DLP. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to implement effective security solutions. Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and mentoring team members. Ability to keep abreast of industry trends and evolving security practices. Experience in incident response and conducting security assessments. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (advanced degree preferred). Work Arrangement This position is fully remote, with no specific in-office requirement unless necessary for specific purposes or business needs. The expected pay range for this role at commencement of employment is between USD $169,600 and USD $288,000 per year. Base pay may vary based on individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include other elements such as a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards along with a comprehensive range of benefits. Details about these benefits will be provided if an employee receives a job offer. Upon hiring, the employee will be in an 'at-will position,' and the company reserves the right to adjust base salary and other discretionary payments based on individual performance and market factors.
