A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 public school setting in Rochester, MI. This full-semester contract position requires an active Michigan SLP license and offers a 35-hour work week, divided into 7-hour days that include time set aside for paperwork, planning, and other indirect duties. This role provides an opportunity to support a diverse student population across all grade levels, with a majority of students served in elementary schools. Key responsibilities include managing a caseload typically ranging from 50 to 60 students, delivering speech and language therapy services, conducting evaluations, and developing individualized education plans (IEPs). Familiarity with educational and billing systems such as PowerSchool, MyStar, and EdPlan is highly desirable to seamlessly integrate into the district's workflow and Medicaid billing processes. Candidates who hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply, as the district is open to professionals at different stages in their career.
