Description The Digital Modernization Sector within Leidos is seeking a skilled Project Management Lead for the GIG Service Management - Operations II (GSM-O II) contract. Our focus is on providing Operations, Sustainment, Maintenance, Repair, and Defense of the Defense Information System Network (DISN) in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). As a Project Management Lead, you will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and monitoring multiple projects under the GSM-O II contract. This position is key to ensuring project completion on time, within scope, and on budget. You will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, delivering high-quality results for DISA and its mission partners. Key Responsibilities Assist in project planning and implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope. Develop proposals for new project initiatives and continue expansion of existing scopes. Define and clarify project team roles, responsibilities, and authorities throughout the lifecycle. Support project operations, communications, and provide timely reporting to the Senior Program Manager and Integration Services Manager. Monitor project action items and coach teams on timely completion, communicating progress effectively. Identify and assist in the resolution of project risks, issues, dependencies, and obstacles. Support process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions to enhance project execution. Oversee project documentation, artifacts, and deliverables, including reports and presentations. Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress, dependencies, and risks. Manage project budgets and financial tracking to ensure compliance with commitments. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and leadership. Ensure compliance with company and customer policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Support staffing actions, onboarding, and coordination of staffing plans and approval of timesheets and expense reports. Compile and generate data for presentations and status updates using project management tools and Microsoft Office suite. Basic Qualifications Active DoD Secret Clearance. Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience (consideration for additional experience or training may apply). Strong written and oral communication skills along with exceptional management abilities. Experience managing multiple projects concurrently. Proficient in MS Project. Ability to identify improvement opportunities, critical dependencies, and process changes for effective outcomes. Experience collaborating with diverse technical and operational teams to achieve project schedules within budget. Experience in task assignment and performance management for contract personnel across various time zones. Preferred Qualifications PMP Certification. ITIL Certification. Experience with DISA or DoD operations. Familiarity with GSMO projects. Experience managing network infrastructure deployment projects. Operational Engineering knowledge. External Referral Eligible.
