Job Opening: Applications Support Lead / Applications Services Manager (Onsite) Job Code: CoP 155369 Client: City of Phoenix - Water Services Department Location: Phoenix, AZ (100% Onsite) Contract Duration: Through March 2, 2027 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (40 hrs/week) Overtime: Available About the Role The City of Phoenix Water Services Department is seeking a senior-level Applications Support Lead / Applications Services Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for its enterprise application portfolio supporting water and wastewater services. This is a hands-off leadership role requiring strong technical understanding to oversee application lifecycle management, modernization initiatives, vendor coordination, governance, and executive reporting. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage an enterprise application portfolio Oversee application lifecycle planning, modernization, and rationalization Provide oversight of application upgrades, integrations, testing, deployments, and production support Manage vendors, contracts, operational budgets, and Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) Develop dashboards and executive reports (Power BI or similar tools) Ensure applications meet security, governance, audit, and compliance standards Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and audit activities Coordinate with IT teams, business stakeholders, finance, and procurement Provide leadership and direction to application services staff and vendors Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 6+ years of experience supporting or managing enterprise applications Strong experience with: Application lifecycle & portfolio management Vendor and contract management Budgeting and CIP oversight Executive reporting and metrics Preferred Skills Power BI or similar reporting/analytics tools SQL, PowerShell, or scripting experience Application integration, deployment, and testing Modernization and legacy system support Public sector or large enterprise experience Compensation: $69.00 per hour About SR International INC SR International has been a leading name among the IT consulting companies with offices in US and India.
