Vice President of Quality Assurance Leadership

Cytel is on the lookout for a dynamic Vice President of Quality Assurance Leadership to spearhead our global QA initiatives. This pivotal role is essential in upholding the highest standards of compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and international regulations, all while fostering innovation in quality oversight. The Vice President will set the strategic direction, manage quality systems and audits, ensure global inspection readiness, and cultivate a high-performing QA team to achieve excellence. Lead the global QA organization, aligning its objectives with Cytel's strategic goals. Manage the Quality Management System (QMS), including audits, vendor assessments, data integrity, and readiness for regulatory inspections. Implement risk-based quality management practices to enhance efficiency and compliance. Act as Cytel's senior representative during regulatory inspections and engagements. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality practices foster innovation and operational success. Inspire, mentor, and lead a global team of QA professionals, encouraging collaboration, accountability, and professional development. Possess a Master's degree in life sciences, computer sciences, or a related field; an MBA is preferred. Have 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in QA within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO settings. Demonstrate deep understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and international regulatory practices. Show proven success in building and leading global QA teams within complex organizations. Exhibit strong business acumen, including experience in strategic planning, resource management, and executive decision-making. Possess excellent communication, influencing, and leadership capabilities, thriving in a fast-paced environment. Why Join Us?
