The Flood Claims Specialist is essential in delivering outstanding claim handling services for our clients focusing on flood claims. Contract Requirements Include: Receive a contract within 24 hours upon accepting your first assignment with Alacrity, detailing payment and essential information for your role as an independent contractor. Skills & Requirements: 2-3 years of property field adjusting experience. Capability to obtain an active and current year FCN card. Willingness to undergo a drug screening. Possession of an independent adjusting license in your state of residence or in a designated home state if residing in a non-licensing state. Experience in handling wind, hail, theft, fire, water losses, and other perils is preferred. Prior experience in managing flood claims is a significant advantage. Access to reliable transportation, a computer, digital camera, ladder, and other essential tools for an adjuster’s responsibilities. Ability and willingness to climb roofs. Technical Requirements: A smart cell phone with internet access. Proficiency in Xactimate and/or Symbility with a valid subscription. A working laptop computer with a reliable high-speed internet connection. A digital camera and other required equipment to perform adjusting duties. Working Conditions / Physical & Mental Demands: This position requires 100% travel within the designated area based on assignment locations. Work may occur in both office and field environments. You must be capable of operating a motor vehicle for up to 8 hours per day, repeatedly entering and exiting the vehicle, and conducting physical inspections of loss sites. Be prepared to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and potentially handle catastrophic loss events.
