Job Description Join our dynamic Security and Identity team as we support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in transferring artifacts and data securely between regions. This is a crucial role that enhances OCI's security and operates a highly scalable system across over 60 regions worldwide. As a Lead Software Developer, you'll focus on creating features that simplify deployment while ensuring security and compliance standards are met. You'll also play a key role in mentoring junior engineers, fostering their growth in engineering expertise. Qualifications: BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience in developing enterprise applications 5+ years of experience with large-scale, highly available distributed systems Proficient in Java, GoLang or a similar object-oriented language (C#, JavaScript, C++) Experience with micro-service architectures and communication protocols Proven production operations experience and a proactive approach to code quality Excellent verbal and written communication skills Agile Development experience (Scrum or Kanban) Able to translate feature requirements into an actionable development plan Preferred Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Java or GoLang Experience with Java micro-service and serverless frameworks Understanding of multi-tenant distributed system design Background in a DevOps environment Security knowledge with TLS, PKI, and SSH Responsibilities: Build and operate modern, fault-tolerant, scalable cloud services Design and implement service APIs Participate in the entire software lifecycle: development, testing, CI/CD, and operations Collaborate effectively in an agile team environment Contribute to operational tasks, including writing runbooks and automation Work with Product Management and other teams to achieve common objectives Mentor and support junior team members Encourage a positive team culture Collaborate with distributed teams to ensure success Support both public and secure government environments Disclaimer: Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be affected by health mandates. Salary & Benefits: Range: $96,800 to $223,400 annually, with eligibility for bonuses and equity.
