Class A CDL Heavy Haul Driver

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Heavy Haul Driver to join our growing team. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of oversized and overweight equipment, including construction and snow removal machinery. The ideal candidate has heavy haul experience, strong knowledge of DOT regulations, and a commitment to safety and professionalism.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely load, secure, transport, and unload oversized and overweight equipmentOperate lowboy, RGN, and flatbed trailers for heavy haul transportTransport equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, bin block, and other heavy machineryProperly secure loads using chains, binders, straps, and other approved tie-down methodsConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment and vehicle safetyMonitor vehicle performance and maintain mechanical fitness of tractor and trailerComply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations, including hours of service requirementsAccurately maintain Electronic Logs (ELD) and electronic dispatch systems via tablet/iPadCoordinate with dispatch and operations to ensure timely and safe deliveriesAssist with equipment staging and mobilization and demobilization during peak operations (including emergency response and snow events, if applicable)Maintain a valid Class A CDL license.QualificationsValid Class A CDL (required)3+ years of tractor-trailer experience (heavy haul preferred)Experience hauling oversized/overweight loadsKnowledge of load securement standards and DOT complianceAbility to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical securement dutiesClean driving recordDrug FreeStrong understanding of FMCSA regulationsAbility to operate heavy equipment for loading/unloading (preferred)Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as neededWillingness to travel for extended periods of timeWhat We OfferCompetitive pay based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesSteady, year-round workModern, well-maintained equipmentSupportive operations teamOpportunities for advancementIf you are a safety-driven professional who takes pride in moving heavy equipment efficiently and correctly, we want to hear from you.Apply today to join our team.Flexible work from home options available.
