Director of Ob/Gyn Quality & Safety

NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is seeking a highly qualified Board Certified Ob/Gyn Physician to step into the role of Director of Ob/Gyn Quality & Safety. This position blends both clinical responsibilities and leadership roles, offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on women's health care. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate effectively with the Chief of Ob/Gyn, Medical Director of Labor & Delivery, Division Directors, and the Medical Director of the Ob/Gyn clinic to promote the mission of enhancing women's health services. Lead quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards in patient care. Engage with Ob/Gyn physicians, nurses, and advanced practice providers to implement quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based best practices, and clinical guidelines in everyday practice. Develop strategic and tactical plans that enhance patient safety and optimize service efficiency. About NewYork-Presbyterian Queens: Located in Flushing, New York, this community teaching hospital serves a diverse patient population. With 535 beds and an academic affiliation with Weill Cornell Medical College, we offer comprehensive medical and surgical services. Our Ob/Gyn team handles approximately 2,500 annual births, operates 9 labor and delivery rooms, 3 Ob operating rooms, and a state-of-the-art postpartum floor. Our multi-disciplinary team features Physician Assistants, experienced nursing staff, and Weill Cornell Ob/Gyn residents who spend significant training time at our facility. Compensation: The salary range for this position is $280k to $400k, with additional benefits and potential incentive payments based on quality measures and productivity. The selected candidate will receive an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College, with the rank aligned to their experience and credentials.
