Explore Career Pathways for Pharmacy Professionals: Responsibilities The pharmacy technician I, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical and non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations. Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality. Does related work, as required. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School graduate or GED. Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by the state of employment. Preferred Job Requirements: 1 year of previous hospital pharmacy technician experience. National Certification (CPhT) (may be required by the state of employment). Current BLS.
