The Clinical Education team is dedicated to empowering our clinical staff, including providers, nurses, social workers, and community health workers, through comprehensive training and education that spans onboarding to continuing education. As a Clinical Education Coordinator and Trainer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the clinical education leadership to effectively implement the annual clinical education curriculum for providers and clinical center team members. This position requires managing ongoing programs and coordination alongside clinical education leadership, tackling moderately complex to complex issues through thoughtful analysis of various factors. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and implement all aspects of clinical training programs, covering onboarding and ongoing education curricula. Source, schedule, and support internal and external speakers for educational sessions, managing logistics, materials, technical support, and honoraria processing. Maintain accurate attendance records and prepare participation and outcome reports for executive leadership. Design and implement surveys and assessments to evaluate program effectiveness and analyze data for continuous improvement. Develop partnerships with academic institutions to secure CEU/CME accreditation for our staff. Facilitate monthly Grand Rounds and promote continuous clinical learning opportunities throughout the organization. Collaborate daily with providers, clinical leaders, operational partners, and educators to schedule and facilitate learning activities. Provide administrative and logistical support to all stakeholders involved. Ensure compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA regulations in all educational activities. Reporting Structure Reports to the Associate Director of Clinical Education under the leadership of the National AVP, Clinical Education. Collaborates closely with the Clinician Development Committee, Operational Learning Team, Clinical Education Team, and other training partners. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree. 5 or more years of experience in healthcare educational coordination. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Project), Zoom, and MS Teams. Experience managing projects within a dynamic and complex environment. Demonstrated commitment to enhancing consumer experiences. Strong organizational, executive functioning, and professional communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in an academic health system, residency program, or health university. Familiarity with project management software such as JIRA. Experience with learning management systems. Skilled in a variety of training tools for effectively reaching diverse audiences. Experience with CME and CEU credits. Work from Home Requirements For effective work from home, a self-provided internet service is required to meet a minimum of 25 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload speed; a wired connection is encouraged. A dedicated workspace with minimal interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information. Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections may only be used with leadership approval. Associates residing in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive bi-weekly payments for internet expenses. Humana will provide telephone equipment necessary for the role. Travel: This is a remote position; occasional travel may be necessary for training or meetings. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Pay Range: The anticipated starting salary range is $71,100 to $97,800 per year, with potential for performance-based bonuses.
