Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while overseeing all unit activities during designated shifts. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in alignment with established policies. You will serve as a resource for staff and embody the organization’s mission and values, aiming to achieve outstanding patient experience and clinical results. Key Responsibilities: Assist with admission and discharge processes to promote efficient patient flow and exceptional quality care. Participate in the ongoing evaluation of the quality of patient care services provided in collaboration with the management team. Foster a teamwork environment by collaborating with experts and managers to enhance outcomes and service delivery. Champion a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary. Facilitate nursing strategies such as employee and hourly rounding to boost staff engagement and satisfaction. Provide input on interviewing, hiring, and training new staff. Implement training and development initiatives while ensuring compliance with personnel policies. Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor resources based on patient care needs and productivity standards. Support inventory management and assist with maintaining supplies and equipment. Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Texas RN License must be obtained within 60 days of hire for those with a Compact License). Minimum of 1 year nursing experience. Registered Nurse Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Associate Degree. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment commencement.
