About the Role As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in guiding patients through both routine and emergency care. Your responsibilities will include: Assessing respiratory status through focused examinations and interpretation of breath sounds. Delivering evidence-based therapy including oxygen support and aerosolized medications across various care settings. Managing ventilation and airways through assisting with artificial airway placement and monitoring patient responses. Supporting patients and the care team by educating families and collaborating with medical professionals. Ensuring equipment safety through proper setup and maintenance of respiratory tools and compliance with infection-prevention standards. Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT). State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner (RRT/RCP). Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, to be obtained within 30 days of starting.
