You will excel in various aspects of management including recruiting and developing high-quality associates, managing assets, fostering customer growth, driving revenue, and controlling expenses. Strong leadership and the ability to inspire your team are essential for success in this role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify and nurture high-potential talent for future management roles Monitor and manage staffing levels effectively Set clear expectations and work collaboratively with associates to establish goals Ensure associates are well-informed and adequately trained in their roles Provide timely communication and feedback regarding store and personnel matters Conduct performance appraisals to support associate development SALES, MARKETING & ADVERTISING: Collaborate with the Divisional Vice President and field marketing team to design impactful advertising campaigns that drive sales Promote sales and marketing initiatives both internally and externally Regularly analyze and monitor competitor sales and marketing strategies Establish monthly sales goals and facilitate monthly profit and loss meetings Ensure adherence to robust telephone sales procedures OPERATIONS AND INVENTORY CONTROL: Ensure that all stores in your area implement best practices and operational standards Oversee all store opening and closing procedures Participate in audits as necessary Verify accuracy of all inventory-related documentation Monitor and manage bad debt and write-off expenses diligently QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in retail operations, particularly in multi-unit specialty store management High energy and professionalism Strong managerial skills Must be at least 18 years old TRAVEL: Travel will be required based on business needs. All Area Managers must maintain a satisfactory driving record (MVR), comply with D.O.T. physical/certification requirements if applicable, have a valid Driver's License, and adhere to the Arona Driver Qualification Policy. All candidates must pass a drug screening and a criminal background check. A job performance reference check may also be necessary.
