Title: Junior Actuarial Specialist (ACAS) Location: Remote candidates must be available during typical business hours in the Eastern Time Zone. Purpose: As a Junior Actuarial Specialist, you will assist in developing and evaluating actuarial and predictive modeling solutions to support our financial goals. You will collaborate with management and other corporate areas to provide strategic insights and lead projects related to actuarial models. Key Responsibilities: Conduct actuarial and predictive modeling analyses, including rate filings and pricing studies. Lead the enhancement of existing applications to address specific business needs. Oversee the preparation of data for analysis, identifying and resolving complex operational issues. Coordinate communication and documentation of technical issues between actuarial departments and cross-functional teams. Contribute to the development of new methodologies and maintain knowledge of industry trends. Review technical actuarial work for quality and coach junior team members. Facilitate training for colleagues on model usage and interpretation of results. Manage collaborations with indirect reports, including actuaries and data specialists. Pursue continued education by preparing for and passing actuarial exams. Ensure all work adheres to applicable actuarial standards. Demonstrate strong judgment and problem-solving skills in addressing complex issues. Required Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite and actuarial software for data analysis and modeling. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field. Membership in the Casualty Actuarial Society with Associateship (ACAS).
