We are seeking a Software Licensing Advisor to enhance our growing software business. The Software Licensing Advisor will handle daily client interactions, manage quoting and order processing within Compucom's software division, and provide essential pre-sales and post-sales software licensing support. This role involves collaboration with Account Sales Representatives, internal teams, Solution Architects, and clients to effectively manage a diverse software portfolio. This position is available for applicants across the US and Canada. Key Responsibilities: Create software licensing quotes directly from OEMs or through distribution partners, using external and internal tools while ensuring SKU accuracy for various software programs. Manage complex quotes and RFPs with precision and efficiency. Provide support for licensing orders including New, Addon, Usage, Consumption, and Renewals, alongside managing the software lifecycle and requisite reporting. Process Deal Registrations and other special pricing requests through OEM portals or distribution partners, ensuring timely updates on existing deals, tracking expiry dates, and requesting necessary extensions. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the software licensing portfolio and subscription services, including deal registration and pricing programs to provide effective ongoing support. Qualifications: A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in software licensing sales support, with industry experience preferred. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA), Microsoft CSP (both direct and indirect), and current Microsoft Cloud commercial constructs. Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure, and other licensing and pricing models. Experience in software licensing quoting and order processes, with a background in working with distribution partners. Familiarity with Microsoft EA and CSP Programs and Offerings. Ability to understand licensing programs, SKUs, and associated order process requirements. Competence in gathering and articulating quoting requirements. Compensation: The starting annual salary for this role ranges from $60,000 to $88,000, subject to adjustments based on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and other relevant factors.
