Job Description

A specialized contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) to support an Extended School Year (ESY) program. This role provides focused therapy services within a school setting, working exclusively with pediatric students during a concentrated summer schedule in the Bronx, NY. Position Details: Location: Bronx, New York Setting: School (Educational program) Duration: 6 weeks (July 6 - August 14) Hours: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Program Type: Extended School Year (ESY) Responsibilities: Therapy services only Key Qualifications: Valid SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience with pediatric speech-language pathology in school settings Effective communication and collaboration skills with students and educational staff Ability to provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs Familiarity with ESY program requirements and educational therapy interventions Role Responsibilities: Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse communication needs Collaborate with educational teams to implement individualized therapy plans Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student goals within the ESY framework Participate in any required meetings or briefings related to the summer program This position offers an opportunity to contribute specialized therapy services during a critical summer program designed to support student progress.
