Job Summary Join our dedicated pharmacy team as a Clinical Pharmacist, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, accuracy, and appropriateness of medication orders. You will manage verbal orders from prescribers, oversee prescription transfers, and review prescriptions for compliance with clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements. In this position, you will collaborate with healthcare providers, pharmacy staff, and patients to ensure timely medication processing and the safe use of HUB-specific therapies, all while fostering strong relationships within the medical community. Your responsibilities will include executing established pharmacy programs, implementing healthcare strategies to improve patient health outcomes, overseeing clinical reviews of medication prescriptions, providing patient counseling, and monitoring therapy outcomes. You will be a key resource to your team and will maintain up-to-date knowledge within the pharmacy industry. Job Responsibilities Perform clinical pharmaceutical work including the coordination and completion of prescription transfers in compliance with regulations. Handle specialty pharmacy orders from referral through dispensing. Coordinate care to meet patient goals, assisting in the resolution of complex issues. Conduct patient counseling based on clinical protocols and REMS programs while documenting interactions appropriately. Provide oversight and direction to non-clinical team members handling escalated situations. Review patient demographics and prescriptions for therapy accuracy and dosage correctness. Update patient records and generate care plans and progress notes as necessary. Contribute to the enhancement of operating procedures to meet service levels and solve departmental challenges. Ensure compliance with security procedures concerning controlled substances and prescriptions. Support additional cross-functional tasks and patient assessments when needed. Review and oversee the work of Pharmacy Technicians and related staff. Fulfill other responsibilities as required or necessary. External Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD. Current Pharmacist license as required by state regulations. Minimum of 3 years of pharmacist experience. At least 2 years in customer service or specialty pharmacy, focusing on quality standards. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Willingness to obtain additional state licensures as necessary. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a call center, retail, or specialty pharmacy setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate others. Experience with pharmacy and clinical systems. Commitment to customer service, quality, and accuracy.
