Career growth and development Diverse and collaborative working environment Paid Time Off Affordable and comprehensive benefits package The Public Safety Officer (Security Officer) is responsible for patrolling JHMI campus via foot, mobile unit or bicycle to protect against illegal activities, theft, fire, vandalism, hazardous conditions, infringements, etc. Hours: Evenings (4pm -12midnight) 3:30pm roll call Location: Columbia MD Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or coursework in security, law enforcement, or healthcare-related fields preferred. . Requirements: Requires current certification in use of Corporate Security Services self defense equipment. Work Experience: The candidate must have one (1) year of security experience in the Public Safety Officer Must be at least 21 years of age. Salary Range: Minimum 17.37/hour - Maximum 28.68/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
