Roadway Engineer Trainee

This position can be based in Houston, Rockwall, Round Rock, or San Antonio, TX. Your Responsibilities: Collect and analyze data for project plans and reports. Assist in preparing project plans using OpenRoads. Contribute to the creation and modification of engineering reports and calculations across various projects. Prepare and assist in calculating project construction quantities and cost estimates. Help in the preparation of project specifications. Review and verify project quantity estimates, details, and drawings for compliance with project requirements. Assist in the development of project schedules. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. EIT (E.I.) Certification is required. 2 to 4 years of relevant experience. Experience with OpenRoads Designer is highly preferred. Previous experience with TxDOT projects is a plus. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening for safety compliance. Valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR) are required.
