The Opportunity This position allows you to work on groundbreaking projects while ensuring robust data governance for our international clients. As organizations enforce strict AI sovereignty and compliance mandates, establishing comprehensive data governance frameworks becomes essential. In this role, you will design and implement governance models that maintain data integrity, security, and compliance for Sovereign AI solutions, working at the intersection of policy, technology, and innovation. Your Key Responsibilities Governance Frameworks: Develop and manage tailored data governance models for Sovereign AI implementations, focusing on metadata management, data lineage, and access controls. Compliance & Risk: Ensure governance practices align with national sovereignty requirements, privacy regulations, and Responsible AI standards. Enablement & Assets: Design reusable toolkits and templates for client engagements and internal use, fostering consistent governance practices. Collaboration: Work closely with Applied Innovation leaders to integrate governance into AI Factory models and Next Frontier initiatives, ensuring comprehensive compliance. Skills and Attributes for Success Capability to develop scalable governance frameworks for complex, multi-jurisdictional data environments. Strong communication and documentation skills for effective stakeholder engagement. Collaborative mindset to work efficiently with technical, policy, and client teams. Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail in compliance and risk management. To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have Demonstrated experience in governmental policy, regulatory compliance, and AI strategy. Thorough understanding of AI/ML architectures, cloud platforms, data architecture, and data sovereignty principles. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field. Knowledge of sovereignty regulations, Responsible AI principles, and data residency requirements. Ideally, You Also Have These Characteristics Advanced degree in Public Policy, Computer Science, or a similar field preferred. Experience with synthetic data concepts, secure data sharing, or data marketplace patterns. Our comprehensive compensation package includes competitive salaries based on performance and value added to the business. The base salary range for this position is $125,900 to $235,500. In specific regions such as New York City, Washington State, and California, the range is $151,100 to $267,600. We embrace a team-led hybrid model where most client-facing roles engage in person 40-60% of the time throughout engagements.
