Sanitation Tech

Job Description Perform all aspects of Line Sanitation to ensure equipment cleanliness with regards company and customer requirements. Accurately and efficiently perform, document, and communicate sanitation assessments on a continuous basis. Proactively communicate with all departments in a professional manner. To create and lead a positive and professional atmosphere. Responsibilities Train new hires on how to use cleaning equipment and chemicals. Responsible for completing items on the Master Sanitation Schedule. Fill in for the Janitors. Must be knowledgeable regarding processing/packaging equipment and the processing/packaging areas. Organize and clean the cage area. Clean and accurately label chemical buckets. Provide chemicals to all production/packaging areas ensuring that proper chemicals are used on the correct equipment. Receive, document inventory and usage of chemicals. Work all clean-ups. Maintain daily cleanliness of the main walk and walls in processing. Clean dip stations and tools. Replace F-29 sanitizer as needed. Refill belt bright. Collect recyclables daily. Conduct frequent walk-throughs ensuring sanitation procedures are being meet. Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to read, write and understand English To keep the Sanitation Supervisor and/or Shift Manager informed of daily issues and/or needs relating to sanitation of the processing area. To maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and assist other personnel as needed to maintain the same conditions in the processing area. To attend and participate in meetings, training and continuing education programs internally or externally as deemed appropriate by management. Qualifications High School Diploma No experience required
