About the Position – Clinical Intern Under clinical supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, the Clinical Intern conducts mental health assessments, provides direct mental health services to members, and participates in consultations with clinical personnel in support of the mental health needs of members in the clinical reentry setting. Your Impact Will Include:Provides individual and group counseling to address clinical needs and support successful reentry. Conducts comprehensive and informal mental health assessments to evaluate needs and progress. Collaborates with member support services staff to address members’ mental health needs. Maintains strict confidentiality and adheres to ethical standards, laws, and behavioral health regulations. Completes weekly clinical supervision in accordance with internship agreements. Maintains accurate, organized, and up-to-date documentation and data collection systems. Submits records, reports, and assignments promptly and efficiently. Participates in professional development, applies research-informed practices, and adapts to new approaches while supporting New Freedom’s policies and procedures. Performing additional duties as assigned to support our mission. Where You’ll WorkPrimarily onsite at our facility. Using standard office equipment, plus plenty of face-to-face interaction. Some days will require long periods of sitting, standing, or walking.
