Compensation Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. Status: Per Diem Shift: VARIED SHIFT Department: Cat Scan Position Summary Summary:The CT Technologist performs all C.T. exams following department protocols under the Direction of the Radiologist. Qualifications Responsibilities:Education Required • Must complete in-house orientation program • Graduate of A.M.A. approved Radiologic Technology program. Experience And Skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Speaks, reads and writes English • 2 years experience as a Radiology Technologist or 1 year in CT Scan peferred or has successfully completed the Mount Sinai South Nassau CT Training program or holds current ARRT certification in CT License/Certifications • Current N.Y.S. License in Radiologic Technologist. A.R.R.T Certification in CT Scan preferred. • Current certificate in BLS from the American Heart Association. • Current certification with injection from the NYS Dept. of Health. Working Conditions Other information:Working Conditions • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn • Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time. • Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward. • Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. • Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, &/or in excess of 50 lbs. of force frequently &/or 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
