Position Type: Special Services/ABA Therapist Date Posted: 6/17/2025 Location: Helen Keller Middle School, Easton, CT Date Available: Start of 2025-2026 SY BASES/BRIDGES Non-Certified Behavior Technician Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7.25 hours per day; 185 days. Available: Commencing with the 2025-2026 school year. Official start date is August 25, 2025. Salary & Benefits: In accordance with the support staff collective bargaining agreement. Full benefits. Salary range is $22.28-$24.46 per hour, based on experience. Responsibilities: Accompany assigned student throughout the school day to provide behavioral and academic support Implement IEP goals as directed by the Special Education Teacher and behavior analyst Attend related service sessions with student (ex. speech, OT, PT) and reinforce work in these goal areas Work with other specialists and to implement additional specified goals and objectives Implement programs developed by teacher, behavior analyst and/or consultant with fidelity Maintain accurate data and graphing on all designated programs Plan and implement all aspects of systematic instructional sequences within self-contained classroom, inclusion environments, and reverse mainstream environments Meet regularly with behavior analyst, special education teacher, support team Attend staff meetings Provide reports of student progress when deemed necessary by teacher and/or team Participate in ongoing training Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferred; minimum of two years college experience or evidence of having passed the ParaPro Exam required Demonstrate knowledge of special education practices (autism) Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be flexible, creative, and demonstrate strong organizational skills Must be highly motivated and self-directed Applications will only be accepted online at the district Web site: A direct link to the application page is: Applications Must Include: • Completion of online application at the district Website: • A formal letter of interest addressed to Kelli Pollock, Supervisor of Special Education • Resume • College transcripts if applicable or evidence of having passed the ParaPro Exam • Three recent letters of recommendation Equal Opportunity Employer The Easton Public School District is committed to maintaining a work and learning environment free from discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, pregnancy, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital/civil union status, ancestry, place of birth, age, citizenship status, veteran status, political affiliation, genetic information or disability, as defined and required by state and federal laws.
