Commercial HVAC Technician

Snapshot / Role Overview We're seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician in Cincinnati, OH to install HVAC equipment and ductwork for commercial construction and retrofit projects. Impact • Deliver quality HVAC installations that provide comfort and efficiency for building occupants • Support project schedules by completing mechanical scopes on time and to specifications • Reduce callbacks and warranty issues through proper installation practices • Contribute to team success by maintaining safety awareness and quality standards Responsibilities • Install commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, split systems, and air handlers • Fabricate and install ductwork, grilles, registers, and diffusers • Run refrigerant piping, install insulation, and connect electrical controls • Read and work from mechanical drawings, equipment schedules, and specifications • Coordinate with sheet metal installers, plumbers, and electricians on job sequencing • Perform startup procedures and verify proper equipment operation • Troubleshoot installation issues and implement field solutions • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition • Follow all safety protocols and participate in daily toolbox talks Requirements Must-Haves • 3+ years of commercial HVAC installation or service experience • Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and controls • Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment schedules • EPA Universal or Type II certification preferred • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation • Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs and work on ladders and lifts Nice-to-Haves • OSHA 10 certification • Experience with variable refrigerant flow (VRF) or chilled water systems • Sheet metal fabrication skills • Manufacturer-specific training (Carrier, Trane, Daikin, Lennox, etc.) Call to Action If you're ready to advance your career in mechanical construction, apply today or connect with us to learn more.
