About the Role Joyce University is seeking a Lead Clinical Faculty member to serve as a state/region academic leader for clinical nursing education. This full-time leadership role blends clinical teaching, faculty mentorship, and operational oversight, ensuring exceptional clinical learning experiences for nursing students across the country. Reporting to the Regional Assistant Dean of Nursing, you will oversee clinical education and supervise several part-time clinical faculty across your assigned state/s. You'll be a visible leader in the clinical environment, a trusted mentor to faculty, and a collaborative partner to healthcare organizations - all while advancing student success and program quality. Your ImpactInspire Clinical Excellence Lead high-quality clinical learning experiences across all program semesters Teach and model best practices in assessment, clinical judgment, skills, medication administration, and student evaluation Maintain clinical teaching competencies and lead by example in the clinical setting Develop & Empower Faculty Supervise, mentor, and support a diverse team of part-time clinical faculty Lead onboarding, coaching, performance evaluation, and professional growth Conduct clinical reviews and build individualized annual development plans Partner in hiring and faculty placement decisions each term Champion Student Success Support student progression and address academic or behavioral concerns with care and accountability Ensure accurate, timely clinical documentation and evaluations Adapt instructional approaches to meet diverse learner needs Strengthen Regional Partnerships Build lasting relationships with clinical sites Collaborate with academic leadership to secure, schedule, and optimize clinical placements Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and state and national regulatory requirements Monitor clinical quality and continuously elevate the student and faculty experience Shape the Future Contribute to curriculum integrity and continuous program improvement Support accreditation, data reporting, and academic initiatives Participate in faculty development, leadership meetings, and university-wide efforts Why Joyce University We invest in leaders who invest in others.
