General Manager Location: San Diego, California 92104 Overview We are a fast growing restaurant group originating in San Diego is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a high volume Baja inspired fast casual location. The concept is known for fresh press tortillas, authentic street style tacos, quality ingredients prepared in house daily, and a lively guest experience. With multiple new openings planned, this role is key to driving operational excellence and team development in a brand with strong momentum. Key Responsibilities • Lead daily operations with a strong presence in both the front and back of house • Ensure fast, accurate, and high quality service during peak rush periods • Manage food and labor costs to meet financial targets • Recruit, train, and develop future leaders in the business • Maintain a clean, safe, and well organized environment that supports productivity • Oversee inventory, ordering, prep, and food safety systems • Uphold brand standards and ensure every guest has a great experience • Communicate goals clearly and follow through on execution Leadership Expectations • Calm and confident leadership in fast paced service environments • Hands on coaching and development of team members • Strong accountability and recognition culture • Focus on growing people and building a deep bench of talent Qualifications • Two or more years of General Manager experience in fast casual or high volume operations • Familiarity with scratch cooking and cost management systems • Strong hospitality mindset with attention to detail • Able to maintain standards and energy during peak traffic Compensation • Annual base salary between 80,000 and 90,000 • 20 percent bonus opportunity based on performance KPIs • Ten days combined PTO and sick time • No company medical insurance provided • Higher wages are intended to help offset the benefits gap • Target schedule is 45 hours per week
