Title: Product Owner Location: Phoenix AZ (3 days onsite) Duration: Long Term JOB DESCRIPTION: Skills: Degree in STEM fields preferably majoring in CS, IT, Data Science. Solid understanding of data platforms, APIs (APIs/JSON), Integration Patterns. Working knowledge of databases and SQL for querying and validating data. Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and provide insights. Experience working with engineering teams on API design, migration or modernization Previous experience in Product Ownership or Product Management Hands on experience writing userstoires, acceptance criteria and managing backlog. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and alignment skills. Preferred Qualification Experience in risk, payments or financial data product domains. Experience with large-scale API platform migrations or digital transformation initiatives. Familiarity with data governance, compliance and regulatory requirements (PCI, fraud/risk, privacy) Roles and Responsibilities: Serve as Product Owner for Agile team delivering API migration and enhancements in addition to onboarding the data onto the risk data platform. Define, prioritize and manage the product backlog continuously. Write detailed userstoires and acceptance criteria covering the business need and test cases. Track delivery progress, manage dependencies and communicate outcomes to stakeholders. Participate in SAFe agile ceremonies like PI planning, US Grooming, Sprint Planning and System Demos. Provide onboarding support to consumers and monitor API performance post-implementation. Collaborate with solution architect and engineering teams to define the API contracts for the data requirements. Leverage SQL and analytical skills to validate data, troubleshoot issues and ensure data quality across APIs.
